Retirement system
The Company has already set its retirement system as required by law by creating the Supervisory Committee of Labor Retirement Reserve on March 16, 1987. Pension benefits are based on the number of units accrued and the average monthly salaries and wages of the last six months prior to retirement. Under the defined benefit pension plan, two units are accrued for each year of service for the first 15 years (inclusive) and one unit for each additional year thereafter, subject to a maximum of 45 units. The retirement reserve of the Company is set aside and deposited in an exclusive account with the Central Trust of China in accordance wit the Labor Standards Act.
